“Artists in Wonderland”, new exhibition, Greece, summer 2010!
Molecular Project’s new topic for the exhibition that will take place in Greece, in Tsagkarada, this summer 2010, is “Artists in Wonderland”.
Artists who decide to partecipate are invited to re-elaborate and re-think Carroll’s masterpieces “Alice in Wonderland” and “Through the looking glass”, reading the book and taking a look at some of the philosophical, psycological, anthropological theories that have been written on Alice.
Carroll’s Alice hides aspects of the human behaviour on which many artists and intellectual people based their thinking throughout the century.
Pubblished on 1865, Alice inspired movies, comics, paintings and scientific essays. What kind of inspiration does she give to YOU?
Artists can use the so called “Laboratory of Ideas” to talk about it, exchange information and opinions! That could be a way of collaborating or getting some new interesting ideas to develop in each one’s particular art. Molecular Project will also partecipate giving some first information on the books, the author Lewis Carroll and some bibliografy-list of sites where you can find interesting topics to elaborate.

“Artisti nel paese delle meraviglie”, nuova mostra-progetto in Grecia quest’estate!
Tema del Molecular Project di quest’anno (2010) è “Artists in Wonderland”, ovvero Artisti nel paese delle meraviglie, liberamente ispirato dal libro di Lewis Carroll “Alice in Wonderland”.
Gli artisti che decidono di partecipare sono invitati a compiere una serie di riflessioni su i due capolavori di Carroll, “Alice nel paese delle meraviglie”-appunto- e il seguito “Alice nello specchio”. L’Alice di Carroll nasconde ben più aspetti da quelli presentati a noi oggi nell’ultimo film di Burton ad esempio, e una rilettura del suo personaggio, confrontandosi con lavori d intelletuali e artisti che si sono succeduti nel secolo passato, ci può aiutare a compiere una vero viaggio intellettivo attraverso e intorno la vita e i comportamenti dell’essere umano in generale.
Pubblicato nel lontano 1865, Alice ha ispirato artisti e scienziati. A VOI cosa ispira?
Gli artisti partecipanti possono usufruire del “Laboratorio delle Idee” (The Laboratory of Ideas) per discutere sul tema, scambiare opinioni, rilfettere. Potrebbe risultare un modo interessante per trovare idee utili da sviluppare ognuno nella sua propria arte. M.P parteciperà con informazioni, segnalazioni di siti, libri, e spunti di riflessione. Iniziate a “pensare” Alice!
“Καλλιτέχνες στον κόσμο των θαυμάτων”, νέα εκδήλωση των Molecular στην Τσαγκαράδα, καλοκαίρι 2010!
Θέμα της φετινής (2010) εκδήλωσης Molecular είναι “Καλλιτέχνες στον κόσμο των θαυμάτων” , ελεύθερα εμπνευσμένο από το πασίγνωστο λογοτεχνικό έργο του Lewis Carroll, “Αλίκη στην χώρα των θαυμάτων” .
Οι καλλιτέχνες που θα αποφασίσουν να συμμετέχουν καλούνται να πραγματοποιήσουν μία στοχαστική επεξεργασία πάνω στα δύο λογοτεχνικά αριστουργήματα του Carroll, “Αλίκη στην χώρα των θαυμάτων” και “Αλίκη στον καθρέφτη”. Η Αλίκη του Καρρόλου κρύβει πολλές περισσότερες πτυχές από αυτές που ο Burton θέλησε να μας φανερώσει με το τελευταίο του έργο. Πτυχές που σκηνοθέτες, κοινωνιολόγοι, ψυχολόγοι και καλλιτέχνες επεξεργάστηκαν τον αιώνα που μας πέρασε.
Η “Αλίκη στη χώρα των θαυμάτων” δημοσιεύεται το 1865 και από τότε δεν έπαψε να εμπνέει ανθρώπους από τον κόσμο της τέχνης και της επιστήμης. Μπορεί να εμπνεύσει και εσάς ;
Οι καλλιτέχνες που συμμετέχουν μπορούν να οφεληθούν από το “Εργαστήρι Ιδεών” (the Laboratory of Ideas) για να συζητήσουν πάνω στο θέμα, να ανταλλάξουν γνώμες και, γιατί όχι, να βρουν χρήσιμες ιδέες για να αναπτύξουν μέσα από την τέχνη τους. Οι υπεύθυνοι του MOlecular Project θα συνεισβάλλουν με μία πλούσια βιβλιογραφία και σειρά από web sites για μία πιο ευρεία επεξεργασία του θέματος. Οι επόμενοι να συνεισβάλλουν είστε εσείς!
Αρχίστε να “σκέφτεστε” την Αλίκη, λοιπόν!
